My name is Jing Ye. I am a Software Engineer and living in Australia. I have been working in this field for more than 8 years. I am excited of dealing with all aspects of system development and meanwhile, being able to achieve the expected outcomes.
However, I love programming and I am also interested in web designing. At same time, I have many other hobbies such as reading, painting, etc. There are a lot of things I would like to achieve in my life and I believe, just like many of you think, that it seems there is never enough time to seek for our dreams. This was also one of the reasons I started involved in level 3 product support in the company I was with for more than five years.

Web System Developing for FAOSTAT2 project - it is a project carried out by Food and Agricultural Organization of United Nations in Rome, Italy. It is aimed to replace the old system used in the statistical division. This project consists two main parts - one is the disseminated site for external usage and another is for internal usage. I was mainly involved in the internal system development. The internal system is web-based and has made of three part, library system, metadata system and processing system, where the last system is the most complex and important part. It includes all the functionality of processing the data and passing to the core system for balancing.
